As part of the court-ordered Consent Decree for the Chicago Police Department, the Independent Monitoring Team has been tasked with overseeing compliance. I was brought on as an Analyst in Fall 2020 to assist the team of Schiff Hardin LLP attorneys on various Consent Decree initiatives. In the summer of 2020, I assisted Dr. Destiny Peery with research for a Justice Collaborative project on social and behavioral evidence around public perceptions, values, and cognition related to criminal justice reform.
